Originating from Toronto, her journey began in 2005 with a six-month personal and spiritual expedition to India. This trip initiated her travel blogging career, leading to the launch of her professional blog, Breathedreamgo, in 2009. In 2019, she received India's top tourism award for Best Foreign Writer and Blogger and established her tour company, India for Beginners. The following year, she trained as a naturalist at a tiger reserve.
